Dr. N茅fer Mu帽oz-Solano is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Latin American literatures. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a journalist for newspapers and magazines in his native Costa Rica, for international news services, and for the British Broadcasting Corporation in London. He holds a master鈥檚 degree in Latin American Studies and Journalism from New York University and a doctorate in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University. Previous to Dallas, he taught literature and communications at University of Costa Rica. He has likewise taught Spanish and Portuguese languages, as well as literary theory, aesthetics, the novel, and Latin American Studies.
